Weight Loss Calculators
These calculators help you turn a broad goal—such as losing weight, gaining weight or maintaining your current weight—into inputs you can check and adjust. Start with a maintenance-calorie estimate, then use a deficit or surplus tool to explore a pace that fits your routine.

How to use these tools well
Start with an estimate, then observe the trend
A calorie calculator cannot measure your exact daily expenditure. Activity, sleep, training volume, medication, illness and normal day-to-day movement all change the result. Treat the first number as a starting point, log consistently for a few weeks and update the plan using the direction of your weight trend rather than a single weigh-in.
Choose a pace you can sustain
A larger calorie deficit can look attractive on a calculator, but it may be harder to maintain and can make training, recovery and hunger management more difficult. The goal-date and weight-loss timeline tools are useful for comparing a few realistic paces before you commit to one. They are planning aids, not promises of a particular result on a particular date.
Connect food, movement and progress
Weight change is easier to interpret when calorie targets are paired with protein, fibre, steps and training context. Use the related nutrition and activity tools below to build a complete picture. If you are pregnant, under 18, managing an eating disorder or have a medical condition that affects weight, get advice from a qualified clinician instead of relying on a general calculator.
