Asterisks Fit is built by the software team at Asterisks, a fitness technology company. Our goal is to make fitness calculations easier to understand and use.

Instead, we use published equations and official methodologies (such as the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, the U.S. Navy circumference method, or WHO weight classifications) where available.
