How to Use the HYROX Time Estimate

Start with sustainable run pace

Your race includes eight separate 1 km runs. For a first estimate, use a pace you can repeat after hard stations, not your fresh 1 km best. If your station times are uncertain, start with conservative estimates and refine them after training simulations.

Do not ignore Roxzone time

Moving between the run course and workout zones can add several minutes. Beginners often lose more time here than expected, so the calculator includes an average transition value for each of the eight segments.

Pair this with running and strength tools

Use the running pace calculator to set realistic run splits, then use the one-rep max calculator and weekly set volume calculator to support strength work. For a complete beginner plan, read the HYROX workout guide.
